James
F. Ault
 James
F. Ault retired from General Motors Corporation as executive-in-charge
of the European Components Group in 1993, after serving
40 years with the company in numerous senior executive
roles. He joined Delco Remy Division in 1953 and advanced
through several key quality and engineering assignments
to Director of Engineering in 1978, followed by Divisional
General Manager positions at Delco Remy in 1984, Rochester
Products and Saginaw in 1988.
In 1994 Ault founded and chaired Anderson Community
Bank after serving on the board of First Merchants Corporation
and as chairman of the Madison Community Bank.
Active in numerous community and civic leadership roles,
Ault has held board assignments on the Wilson's Boys
& Girls Club, Anderson Community Schools, Madison County
Foundation and the Paramount Heritage Foundation. Ault
and his wife, Marilyn, co-chaired the restoration fund
raising for the Anderson Fine Arts Center Currently
and the community's United Way campaign for two years
and the Sandi Patty Golf Classic for the benefit of
the Children's Clinic. He is the recipient of the prestigious
State of Indiana Sagamore of the Wabash Award and has
received an honorary Doctor of Laws Degree from Anderson
University. Currently, he is serving his second four-year
term on the Anderson Community School Board and on the
Paramount Heritage Foundation Board.
