I
Power is located in a modern facility in Anderson Indiana
that is 25 miles northeast of Indianapolis. This area
has historically been the focus of electro-mechanical
technology for the automotive industry. Today Anderson
is home to IPower and a group of technology companies
and the states flagship energy systems center.
The company is housed in a 66,200 sq. ft. facility on
the south side of Anderson, a few blocks off I-69, the
primary throughfare connecting Indianapolis and Detroit.
It houses the administrative offices, the engineering
/ research and development facilities and the lean assembly
operation.
I Power's emphasis on technology development and customer
focus has resulted in significant investment in facility
information technology (IT) positioning. The companies
test standards are the most modern in the industry and
the IT systems provide realtime access to remote monitoring
of customer operating units.
